On Thursday, September 28, Imprint held its second annual charity golf tournament.  The tournament successfully raised $15,700, exceeding last year’s total by nearly $1,000. This year’s proceeds will benefit Backpacks of Love, a local non-profit that fights child hunger on a local level at elementary schools.

The tournament, hosted by Hunting Hawk Golf Club in Glen Allen, featured 18 teams and multiple sponsors. In total, about 24 local businesses contributed to this year’s tournament.  PIE Tech, a local technology consulting firm, finished the day in first place.

Participants enjoyed complimentary lunch, dinner, and drinks throughout the day.  Dozens of raffle prizes were also won, such as gift cards, Disney World tickets, a YETI cooler, and an Emerge Single Monitor Sit/Stand Workstation.

“Thank you to all of the sponsors, participants, and volunteers that made Imprint’s Second Annual Charity Golf Tournament such a phenomenal day,” said Andrea Starr, Imprint Outreach Coordinator. “It means so much to us to have such wonderful support in the community helping us assist disadvantaged kids.”
