This is not a race someone runs on a whim — but, when talking about someone like Steve Scott, you get the feeling he’d be ready for any race, at any time.
One man. 5 Days. 168 miles. With a long list of running accolades under his belt, Cobb Technologies employee Steve Scott is lacing up to make the trek from Danville to Richmond.
On Friday, June 1, Cobb Technologies president Toni Gorveatt and outreach director Andrea Starr stood on the stage in the JR Tucker High School gymnasium. Addressing the sea of students in blue and white graduation caps and gowns, their parents and faculty, Gorveatt spoke in fond memory of Marvin Williams, a beloved Cobb employee who unexpectedly passed away in April 2016.
On Thursday, September 28, Imprint held its second annual charity golf tournament. The tournament successfully raised $15,700, exceeding last year’s total by nearly $1,000. This year’s proceeds will benefit Backpacks of Love, a local non-profit that fights child hunger on a local level at elementary schools.
