Cobb to Host Silent Auction Fundraiser

On Thursday, June 8, Cobb Technologies will be hosting a silent auction fundraiser at its Richmond HQ office from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to benefit Imprint's endeavors in the community. Featuring 100+ items donated by Richmond-area businesses and individuals, live music, food, and beverages, the event will offer the public a great way to get involved in the community and get great deals on local goods and services.

The Shh!ilent Auction will feature over 100 items that range from restaurant gift cards, customized art and jewelry, home and personal services, sports memorabilia, and clothing. In addition to these items, food plates and beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available for purchase as well.

A full list of items available for bidding can be found here.

"We have been inundated with support from local businesses since we began planning this event," said Andrea Starr, outreach coordinator for Imprint. "It has truly been amazing to see the donations and words of encouragement pour in over the last few months."

"It just goes to show you how much Richmond cares about the local community," said Starr.

All proceeds from this event will go directly towards Imprint's initiatives and efforts in the community. Imprint, which was named a 501(c)(3) in June 2016, primarily focuses on providing relief for at-risk youth in the Richmond community by teaming up with smaller, unheralded organizations. Over the past year, Imprint has completed a number of projects, including packing over 10,000 bags of supplementary weekend food for impoverished school-aged children and donating 700 books to a local Bon Secours pediatrician's office after a month-long project to paint the waiting and patient rooms with murals.

"The proceeds from this event will be used towards the continued support of our initiatives, which focus on fighting child hunger, facilitating literacy and ensuring children have the tools they need to maximize their learning," said Starr. "From food to school supplies, every dime spent at our fundraiser will go directly to helping a child in our community."

The Silent Auction will be held on Thursday, June 8 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Cobb Technologies' HQ (1000 Technology Park Drive, Glen Allen, Va. 23059).
